The 2nd round of Proposal Writing Workshops in the framework of FP7 MOLD-ERA project was held on November 14-16 and November 21-23, 2011 in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova. The purpose of the events was to prepare and assist the researchers in better understanding the rules and regulations of FP7 and in writing successful proposals.
During the workshop the practical aspects of participation in the Framework Programme were presented by Michael Remes, from EFP Consulting LTD, which holds vast experience in FP management. The topics presented have aroused the interest of participants and resulted in various questions:

3. Evaluation process
4. Project Financial Phases
5. Project Best Practice
The two events were attended each by almost 30 representatives of the scientific community and academia, among them the State Medical and Pharmaceutical University "N.Testemitanu", Technical University of Moldova, Institute of Electronic Engineering and Nanotechnologies, the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science, Information Society Development Institute, TOPAZ plant.
The second and third day of the workshop were focused on practical activities, such as mock evaluation of a project proposal and consensus meeting, as well as determination of project costs, their justification and actually filling financial spreadsheets. The practical activities were especially valuable to the workshop and hopefully will result in a sound impact within Moldovan scientific community.
