In the period of July 2-6, 2012 the second Summer School in nanotechnology and biomedical engineering "Nano-Bioengineering-2012" was organized by the FP7 project MOLD-ERA. The second multidisciplinary event, organized at the intersection of several fields in Moldova, aimed at developing creative skills and training specialists for the national economy, in the hope that integration into the European Research Area will create more opportunities for the local R&D community.
The training workshop on FP7 Financial Issues was organised in Moldova on July 3, 2012. The training focused on funding schemes and regimes, eligible and ineligible costs, bookkeeping and financial reporting as well as other related topics.
FP7 project MOLD-ERA organises its 2nd Summer School in nano-bioenginering, biomaterials and biocompatibility between July 2-6, 2012.
It is a unique opportunity for junior researchers, MSc and PhD students to update their knowledge in these fields. Lectures will be presented by professors and researchers from consortium partners, like Hannover Medical School (Germany), Center for Device Thermography and Reliability (Bristol), Technical University of Moldova, University of Medicine and Pharmaceutics of Moldova and Institute of Electronic Engineering and Nanotechnologies.
Prof. Ion Tiginyanu is the Guest Editor of the special issue of the scientific “Journal of Nanoelectronics and Optoelectronics” with the tentative title “Nanotechnologies and nanomaterials for electronic, phononic and photonic applications”, a cross-disciplinary peer-reviewed journal cited by the Science Citation Index and published by the “American Scientific Publishers” in California, USA.
MOLD-ERA is organizing its third round of WEBINARS in June. It targets researchers preparing FP7 project proposals, project managers and financial managers from Moldova.
The webinars focuses on Eligible and Ineligible Costs - June 28, 2012.
Eligible and Ineligible Costs
In the framework of the MOLD-ERA project a one-day workshop on FP7 Financial Issues will be organised on July 3, 2012.
The event will cover topics as funding schemes and regimes, eligible and ineligible costs, bookkeeping and financial reporting.
The workshop concerns the participation of PhD students and young researchers from research institutions, universities and SMEs performing research and development activities, mainly from the Technical University of Moldova.
The first round of the "Training Courses in nano-bioenginering, biomaterials and biocompatibility" finished in April 2012.
This Training Course of 250 hours addressed 26 young researchers, PhD and MSc students who study solid state physics and electronics, microelectronics and nanoelectronics, biomedical engineering, biology, medicine and related fields, coming from universities, academic laboratories, SMEs and industrial companies.
