Alexander von Humboldt Foundation aims at strengthening regional and interdisciplinary links between the scientists sponsored by the foundation, establishment of the worldwide contacts, introducing young scientists to the scholarship supported by the Humboldt Foundation and to research in Germany.
The 2nd International Conference on Nanotechnologies and Biomedical Engineering (ICNBME-2013) will be held in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova on 18-20 April 2013. The event is organised by the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, Technical University of Moldova, State Medical and Pharmaceutical University “N.Testemitanu” from Moldova, Moldavian Society of Biomedical Engineering.
FP7 project MOLD-ERA organises a Training Courses in nano-bioengineering, biomaterials and biocompatibility.
In the period of July 2-6, 2012 the second Summer School in nanotechnology and biomedical engineering "Nano-Bioengineering-2012" was organized by the FP7 project MOLD-ERA. The second multidisciplinary event, organized at the intersection of several fields in Moldova, aimed at developing creative skills and training specialists for the national economy, in the hope that integration into the European Research Area will create more opportunities for the local R&D community.
In the framework of the MOLD-ERA project a one-day workshop on FP7 Financial Issues will be organised on July 3, 2012.
The event will cover topics as funding schemes and regimes, eligible and ineligible costs, bookkeeping and financial reporting.
The workshop concerns the participation of PhD students and young researchers from research institutions, universities and SMEs performing research and development activities, mainly from the Technical University of Moldova.
The first round of the "Training Courses in nano-bioenginering, biomaterials and biocompatibility" finished in April 2012.
This Training Course of 250 hours addressed 26 young researchers, PhD and MSc students who study solid state physics and electronics, microelectronics and nanoelectronics, biomedical engineering, biology, medicine and related fields, coming from universities, academic laboratories, SMEs and industrial companies.
