55 students and young researchers would like to attend the Summer School

The Organizing Committee of the Summer School on Nano-Bioengineering-2011 received 55 applications from graduate students, PhD students and young researchers willing to attend the courses on nano-bioengineering to be held on July 3-7, 2011.

The applications came from research institutes, universities and small enterprises. The biggest number of applications (30) was received from the departments of the Technical University of Moldova. The representatives of research institutes and University of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova submitted 14 applications, while 8 applications were received from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, research institutes of the Ministry of Health and a small enterprise. Besides, 3 applications were received from Romanian universities.

Currently the applications are evaluated by a group of experts who will select the best 30 students and young researchers to attend the Summer School.

Note that along with theoretical lectures, a practical course will be organized. In particular, the engineers from the NITECH Company will demonstrate modern equipment used in nano-bioengineering.
