Nanoforum, that reaches its seventh edition this year, has establish itself as a first-rate meeting point to promote the new business possibilities offered by nanotechnologies. Our aim is to foster the process of technological transfer from academic and research world to industry. Nanoforum 2011 is the very occasion to gain a “state-of-the-art” knowledge about micro and nanotechnologies, to get in touch with Italian and foreign experts, to network with potential business partners.

Nanoforum 2011 will take place at the Sapienza - University of Rome, Faculty of Engineering, on 14th and 15 th September. The new programme is coming soon.

Anyway, some general information can be already provided: a general Tutorial through a qualified speaker (i.e. a small introduction to nanotechnologies: what are they? And, above all, which are their high-potential skills looking at different business fields?) is expected to take place on Thursday, 13th September in the afternoon. Some specific Tutorials will be also held (about relevant sectors such as nanomechanics & mems, nanomedicine etc.).

Wednesday, 14th and Tuesday, 15th September will be characterized by the Conference sessions, 1-to-1 meetings (i.e. individual meetings among representatives from companies and/or research centres to develop new collaborations between who looks for specific solutions and who proposes them) and by the Exhibition Area, the right place to meet Italian and foreign operators of the sector.
